Roles and Responsibilities
As a Product Specialist, you will contribute to the success of the assigned region by:
Sales and Customer Engagement
- Achieving regional product sales targets and managing strategic accounts.
- Demonstrating advanced workflows (molecular, cellular, and protein) through wet lab demos and resolving customer queries.
Technical Expertise and Collaboration
- Handling imaging, flow cytometry, immunoassays, and western blotting workflows.
- Collaborating with sales teams to align product priorities and achieve targets.
Market Analysis and Tender Management
- Analyzing sales reports, identifying gaps, and proposing solutions.
- Collecting tender information, pitching appropriately, and maintaining a wins/losses record.
Training and Marketing Activities
- Conducting training for teams and channel partners.
- Presenting at scientific forums, technical seminars, and product launches.
- Organizing workshops, roadshows, and marketing activities to generate leads.
Qualifications
Education
- MSc or PhD in Biological Sciences with a strong understanding of advanced life sciences workflows.
Experience
- 2-3 years in roles such as Application Specialist, Product Specialist, or Product Manager.
Skills
- Expertise in imaging, flow cytometry, and advanced molecular workflows.
- Sales-savvy mindset with excellent presentation and communication skills.
