Position Details
Post Title: Research Associate I
Project: Peptide-metal chelator conjugates as potential therapeutic candidates for multifaceted amyloid-β toxicity in Alzheimer’s disease.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:
- PhD in Medicinal Chemistry/Peptide Chemistry (or proof of thesis submission), OR
- M.Pharm./M.S. (Pharm.) in Medicinal Chemistry with 3 years of research/teaching experience.
- At least one published research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Desired Qualifications:
- Expertise in solid-phase and solution-phase peptide synthesis.
- Proficiency in peptide analysis and purification using HPLC.
- Experience with techniques like ThT assays, cell viability assays, ANS fluorescence, high-resolution mass spectroscopy, and transmission electron microscopy.
Age Limit:
- Below 40 years as of the interview date.
- Age Relaxation: As per government norms (requires proof of eligibility).
Fellowship and Benefits
- Monthly Fellowship: ₹58,000 (consolidated).
- Housing Rent Allowance (HRA): As per DST norms.
