Role Overview
As an Associate, Data Management, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring data accuracy and compliance in clinical research studies. Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform data cleaning and resolve queries in the Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system under supervision.
- Assist in creating data management plans, data validation plans, and system validation plans.
- Address EDC help desk requests from sites and sponsors, ensuring prompt resolutions.
- Manage user access for study systems in compliance with 21 CFR Part 11.
- Develop database validation specifications, CRF completion guidelines, and UAT scripts for study databases.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and maintain data integrity throughout the study lifecycle.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Archive study-related clinical documents.
- Collaborate with vendors on data management activities.
- Support team meetings by preparing and distributing minutes.
- Assist in project management and reporting.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or IT-related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
- Fluency in English (oral and written).
- 0-1 year of experience in data management, database administration, or clinical research.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office and general computer literacy.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
