Key Responsibilities
As a Biostatistician, your role involves:
Project Leadership
- Serving as a lead statistician with minimal supervision.
- Conducting team meetings, managing project timelines, and allocating resources.
- Interacting with sponsors and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Statistical Analysis & Programming
- Developing statistical analysis plans, including databases, tables, and summaries.
- Performing statistical analyses with a focus on efficacy endpoints.
- Ensuring accurate documentation and mentoring junior team members.
Collaboration with Teams
- Working closely with programmers and data management teams to maintain databases.
- Providing guidance on database structures and facilitating project documentation.
Protocol Review & Reporting
- Calculating sample sizes and reviewing clinical designs for statistical integrity.
