Job Role: Medical Reviewer

The Medical Reviewer will oversee medical reviews, evaluations, and analyses of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs), ensuring compliance with pharmacovigilance (PV) legislation and guidelines. This role supports both clinical trials and post-marketing drug safety activities. EVERSANA Hiring for Medical Reviewer in Pune

Key Responsibilities

• Medical Review: Analyze Adverse Events (AEs) and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) for narratives, coding, seriousness, causality, expectedness, and summaries.
• Regulatory Compliance: Draft and review Analyses of Similar Events (AOSE) for expedited cases in line with regulatory requirements.
• Consultation: Act as an internal consultant for pharmacovigilance case processing teams.
• Product Knowledge: Stay updated on safety profiles and product portfolios across therapeutic areas.
• Training & Mentorship: Train and mentor junior medical review personnel.
• Quality Control: Contribute to process improvements and maintain awareness of medical safety regulations.

Job Expectations

• Travel Requirement: Less than 5%.
• Work Hours: 45 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Education: MBBS, MD, BDS, or MDS degree.
• Experience: 1-2 years in medical reviewing for ICSRs in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries (CRO experience is preferred).
• Regulatory Expertise: Knowledge of international regulatory guidelines such as FDA, ICH GCP, MHRA, PMDA, and GVP Modules.
• Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
