Key Responsibilities
- Assign ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes with 95% accuracy.
- Review and abstract medical records as per guidelines.
- Participate in coding meetings and training sessions.
- Meet productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Engage in coding discussions and provide insights.
- Adapt to flexible work schedules when required.
Qualifications & Eligibility
- Education: B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D, M.Sc, B.Sc (Life Sciences).
- Experience: 0 – 5 years in medical coding.
- Certification: Must hold a valid medical coding certification from AAPC or AHIMA. Acceptable certifications include:
- CPC (Certified Professional Coder)
- CCS (Certified Coding Specialist)
- CIC (Certified Inpatient Coder)
- COC (Certified Outpatient Coder)
