Key Responsibilities
As a Drug Safety Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Handling Adverse Events: Receive and process incoming calls related to adverse events, determining the appropriate course of action.
- Data Management: Collect, process, and track adverse events, including serious adverse events (SAEs).
- Safety Narratives: Draft detailed safety narratives based on collected information.
- Reporting: Prepare safety reports to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and investigative research sites to maintain safety compliance.
Qualifications
Required:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field (Nursing, Pharmacy, or Pharmacology).
- Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Expertise in Microsoft® Office applications.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in clinical research, case processing, or post-marketing pharmacovigilance.
