Key Responsibilities
As a Safety Associate at IQVIA, you will support pharmacovigilance operations and ensure compliance with global regulatory standards. Your responsibilities include: IQVIA Hiring Safety Associate Drug Safety
- Reviewing and processing safety data from multiple sources as per regulatory and SOP standards
- ICSR case processing using Argus Safety Database
- Managing pharmacovigilance operations, including:
- Tracking Adverse Events (AEs) and endpoint details
- Determining event status (initial/update)
- Performing data entry, medical coding (MedDRA/WHO-DD), and narrative writing
- Processing literature-based safety reports
- Ensuring 100% compliance with SOPs, regulatory standards, and project timelines
- Maintaining accuracy, quality, and high productivity
- Collaborating with senior team members on quality and compliance issues
- Participating in team discussions and continuous process improvements
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Pharmacovigilance, ICSR Case Processing, and Argus Safety
- Sound understanding of medical terminology and global PV regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and web-based PV applications
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and teamwork abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Educational Qualifications
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Pharm.D
- Relevant certifications in Pharmacovigilance are a plus
