Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacovigilance Reporting Associate to join our team at ICON plc. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of clinical trial participants by efficiently managing and reporting serious adverse events (SAEs) and other safety-related information. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining compliance with regulatory authorities and upholding ICON’s commitment to patient safety and quality research. ICON plc Hiring Pharmacovigilance
Key Responsibilities
- Safety Reporting: Ensure timely submission of expedited Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reports, periodic reports, and other safety information to regulatory authorities, ethics committees, investigators, and stakeholders within defined project timelines.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain oversight of assigned projects to ensure adherence to ICON’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project team members, clients, investigators, and third-party vendors to establish and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Documentation & Quality Control: Manage documentation filing, perform quality checks on reports, and ensure all safety-related documents are audit-ready.
- Training & Mentorship: Provide coaching and mentorship to less experienced associates to strengthen team competency in safety reporting practices.
- Travel Requirement: Be prepared for approximately 10% domestic and/or international travel as required by project demands.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, clinical research, or drug safety roles.
- Strong understanding of safety reporting systems, pharmacovigilance regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
