Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacovigilance Reporting Associate, your role will include:
- Submitting Reports: Prepare and submit Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reports, periodic reports, and safety information to clients, regulatory authorities, ethics committees, and investigators.
- Managing Safety Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate communication of safety reporting intelligence to all stakeholders.
- Project Oversight: Monitor projects for compliance with ICON standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Departmental Support: Participate in quality reviews, oversee training activities, and support CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) implementation.
- Database Maintenance: Ensure project documentation and databases are audit-ready and comply with inspection standards.
- Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across cross-functional teams.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about changes in regulatory guidelines and safety reporting practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D, MSc, BSc, or a background in life sciences.
- Experience: 1-3 years in pharmacovigilance, clinical research, or related fields.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and safety reporting systems.
- Skill Set: Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration in a team environment.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically or internationally.
