Responsibilities in the Role

As a Process Associate – Life Insurance, your role will involve key operational tasks in Genpact’s insurance services. Responsibilities include:

Document Assessment

  • Reviewing life insurance documents and identifying underwriting needs.
  • Requesting additional information, as required.

Application Evaluation

  • Analyzing applications to determine APS (Attending Physician Statement) requirements.

Customer Support

  • Addressing inquiries via email.
  • Responding to underwriter requests promptly.

System Management

  • Entering underwriting decisions and generating disclosure letters for adverse decisions.
  • Adjusting schedules to handle peak periods effectively.

APS Guidelines Development

  • Establishing APS ordering standards with knowledge of medical and non-medical underwriting principles.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Understanding and adhering to insurance laws, state regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all data.

Qualifications Required

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Non-Technical).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in medical record summarization or review is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong typing skills.
  • Certifications in insurance-related fields.
  • Positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong time management.
