Role Summary
As a Clinical Investigator at Optum, you will ensure the integrity of healthcare claims by investigating fraudulent activities and maintaining high-quality standards for health plans, government entities, and commercial customers. Fresher Optum Hiring for Clinical Investigator
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve claims for health plans, commercial customers, and government entities.
- Conduct detailed reviews of medical history and contestable investigations.
- Utilize medical expertise and knowledge of CPT/diagnosis codes and client-specific guidelines.
- Assist in special projects and reporting for the prospective team.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, contract guidelines, and reimbursement policies.
- Independently handle tasks and occasionally coordinate activities with the team.
- Maintain a quality-focused approach with attention to detail.
Qualifications
Required:
- Medical degree: BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, BPT, MPT.
- B.Sc Nursing or BDS with at least 1 year of corporate experience.
- Experience range: 6 months to 3 years (freshers in BPT, MPT, BHMS, BAMS, or BUMS are encouraged to apply).
Preferred:
- Experience in claims processing, managed care, or health insurance.
- Familiarity with US healthcare systems and medical coding.
- Knowledge of medical records and healthcare terminology.
Skills Required
