Job Role: Medical Information Specialist
As a Medical Information Specialist, you will provide scientifically accurate, evidence-based information about pharmaceutical products while ensuring regulatory compliance. EVERSANA Hiring Medical Information Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Medical Inquiries Handling: Respond to healthcare professionals, consumers, and payers regarding pharmaceutical products.
- Scientific Research & Analysis: Evaluate medical literature to provide well-researched responses.
- Multi-Channel Communication: Handle inquiries via phone, email, CRM, and chat.
- Adverse Event Reporting: Identify and document adverse events and product complaints in line with FDA regulations.
- Regulatory Collaboration: Work closely with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to address product-related complaints.
- Therapeutic Knowledge: Maintain updated knowledge of pharmaceutical products, therapeutic areas, and client-specific requirements.
- Customer Service & Documentation: Ensure accurate documentation and deliver high-quality responses.
Required Qualifications
- Education: B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D, MSc, or any Life Sciences degree.
- Experience: 1-2 years in medical information handling, regulatory documentation, or customer interaction.
- Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products and therapeutic areas.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
Essential Skills
- Scientific Research: Ability to analyze and synthesize medical literature.
- Medical Writing & Documentation: Proficiency in writing scientific responses and documenting adverse events.
- Customer Interaction: Experience engaging with healthcare professionals and consumers.
- Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of FDA post-marketing adverse event reporting.
- Attention to Detail: Strong quality assurance and documentation skills.
